Land Acknowledgment
I acknowledge that the land I inhabit—where I live, work, and play—was once the sacred home of many tribes, including the Keyauwee Tribe and the Saura or Cheraw Tribe, part of the Siouan Nation. It is crucial to recognize the profound injustices these Indigenous Peoples faced, injustices whose impacts continue to resonate with their descendants today. I honor and respect the rich heritage and enduring spirit of Indigenous peoples, both past and present, and commit to supporting their rights and well-being.
